We were joined by Immediate Past National President Floyd Culver and his wife Ann from Defiance, Ohio, as well as Region 3 Vice President Katie Smith from Owatonna, Minnesota.

Lincolnland Faces and Places: North Chicago is planning a fundraiser with the Harlem Ambassadors, who have entertained on basketball courts in 48 states and 20 countries.

We had elections of officers on April 14th with a full slate of welcomed volunteers ready to serve. On May 12th, we will honor approximately 22 eighth graders from area schools during our Annual Junior High Outstanding Leadership Awards Banquet.

National News: National Exchange Club President Claude Carmack and Statue of Responsibility (SOR) Foundation President/CEO Daniel Bolz signed a memorandum of understanding on February 20th to define a strategic alliance between the two organizations.

The Exchange Club bylaws stipulate that annual club elections be held no earlier than the first meeting in March and no later that the last meeting in April. Mattoon held its 4th Annual Megeff / Exchange Club Double Elimination Pool Tournament on February 13th. The Lake County Exchange Clubs Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse Fundraiser will be held at Rink Side Family Entertainment Center in Gurnee Mills Mall from 10 AM to 7 PM on Sunday, February 28th. Exchange Club of Greater Kendall County held a Community Blood Drive on Saturday, February 13th.
