Bill Moomaw, a member of the Exchange Clubs of the Emerald Coast and Niceville, Florida, was installed as Region 9 Vice President at the 2007 National Exchange Club convention in Portland, Oregon. Previously, he served two years as a Volunteer Field Representative. He is a Retired Air Force Colonel and is currently the President of Priority One Services, Inc.
Bill joined Exchange in 1994. He has served in a variety of leadership roles at the club level, including as a director, secretary, president-elect and president of both his clubs. For the Florida District Exchange Clubs, Bill served as a division director and as president-elect, before going on to serve as district president in 2002-2003. He has helped build one new Exchange Club.
Active in his community, he served as American Veterans (AMVETS) Post 78 Veteran Service Officer and went on to become commander of the post. Bill currently serves as a school mentor and as the Master of Ceremony for the Twin Cities Veterans Council Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado, a Bachelor of Science in Occupation Education from Southern Illinois University, and a Doctor of Education from the University of West Florida. He and his wife, Janet, call Niceville home and yes, Bill says, “it is nice in Niceville.”
