This edition of "Around Lincolnland" features the Exchange Club of Aledo's Christmas Tree Fundraiser.  For more information on this event, please contact Aledo Exchangites Gerald and Iris Paulsen atgirls60@frontiernet.net.

For several decades, the Aledo Club has celebrated the Holiday Season with their Christmas Tree Fundraiser.  From the Aledo town square pavilion, the club is currently selling 250 Christmas trees.  Most trees are priced from $20 to $35, and a few special trees are priced at $50.  The club begins their holiday fundraiser on Thanksgiving weekend, and the pavilion tends to get very busy as soon as the first snow falls.  The town square features a wonderful collection of Christmas trees decorated by local children and sponsors.

The Aledo Club is also known for their 4th of July Frog Races.  In addition, every street sign in Aledo proudly displays the Exchange Club logo.
